WHY LEARN BCLS?

Learning CPR + AED helps equip the layperson with the awareness to handle out-of-hospital cardiac arrests and to increase survival rates should their loved ones or people in their communities suffer from a sudden cardiac arrest. In the BCLS course, learners are provided a more in depth coverage on administering CPR + AED for adults and infants. To better equip caregivers and healthcare professionals, the BCLS course also covers choking situations or foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO) for adult, child and infants.

This course aims to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and skills to perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation ( CPR) and apply the techniques taught for both Adult and Infant and also be able to perform life saving techniques for Adult and Child given a Foreign Body Airway Obstruction incident. according to the guidelines provided by the National Resuscitation Council (NRC), Singapore.
